名词定义一段长约数百碱基对，能够妨碍真核基因调节蛋白对远距离的基因施加影响的DNA序列。可以缓冲异染色质的阻遏作用，当其位于基因及其调控区旁侧时，该基因不论其在基因组中位置如何都能正常表达;当其位于靶基因的增强子与启动子之间时，可以阻断增强子的作用。
